Hey guys so now I've gotten the hang of this forum and I like the place. Thanks for all the welcomes. Anyways I pretty much started listening to metal and all of it's subtitles when I started weightlifting. I'm now a bodybuilder and like to just blast my eardrums with something loud, hard, and fast while I'm in there doin my thing lol

So...as mentioned in another thread some of my top bands to listen/lift to are:

Killswitch Engage
In Flames
Sonic Syndicat
All That Remains
Hatebreed

and so on.

Do you guys have any other bands you may know of that fit in somewhat of that genre? I don't usually go much 'darker' (if thats the word lol) than those bands. Some of the black and death metal bands I like but the vocals kill it for me. I like loud screaming, etc like your trying to kill your vocal chords, but I'm not much a fan of that throat clearing, deep, dark type stuff...

so let me have it if you could all be so kind haha :copter:

Total and utter shite. Nice to meet you btw Very Happy

Loud screaming stuff is done much better than all those bands. Listen to any melodeath band and you'll see why.

First suggestion: Heartwork by Carcass.

Scar Symmetry is quite excellent. try the album pitch black progress or morphogenesis

Byd, this is how it starts, you know. One day it's "I like Blink 182", the next it's "I think I like men".

If those are the bands you are interested in then maybe try...

Sepultura (just seems like weight lifting music to me)
Lamb of God
Death Angel
Amon Amarth (just seems like weight lifting music to me even though it doesn't fit your description)
Arch Enemy
