Well let's see...

I enjoy these genres of metal:
Traditional, NWOBHM, thrash, folk, power, black, death, doom, nu-metal, mathcore, metalcore, deathcore, grindcore, goregrind, etc. Pretty much everything except straight up goth metal or industrial metal.

I like some rap music but there is only one rap band I actually listen to.

I don't like country music unless it has a bit of a rock influence in it.

I like some classical music. It really depends on the song. Some I like some I don't.

I like some blues.

I like reggae somewhat.

I guess it would be easier to say what I don't like.

Country
Pop
Gothic Rock / Gothic Metal
Industrial Metal (not that I know of yet at least)
I dislike most church music.

And...well...I guess everything else has at least something I like.

Well my favorite band is King Diamond, last night I went to a Senses Fail concert, I am quite fond of grindcore bands like Agathocles and Pig Destroyer but can also be found listening to indie prog acts like Minus the Bear or math rock such as The Fall of Troy. Classic rock bands and a bit of 80's glam take up some of my free time but not as much as black metal and thrash. Did I mention that occasionally I will listen to Blink 182 or Greenday. Umm yeah I guess I could just start listing all the bands on my playlist huh.

Random 10 song shuffle on my media player.

1) Black Sabbath- The Wizard (duh)
2) Opeth Credence (Prog metal)
3) Senses Fail- You're Cute When You Scream (screamo)
4) Nine Inch Nails- Head Down (industrial)
5) Misfits- Mommy, Can I Go Out and Kill Tonight? (punk)
6) StockFeeder- Untitled Track (ielectronic grindcore)
7) Onward- Storm Comming Soon (Power Metal)
8) Anal Whore- Consuming Rancid Menstural Soup (goregrind)
9) Obituary- Slowly We Rot (death metal)
10) Impaled Nazarene- Cancer (black metal)

Yeah I'm bored so yeah.

Some of it is catchy and some of it has a good sort of heavenly feel to it. I don't mind it if it's more atmospheric but when it has a sort of happy tune beat to it I tend to not like it. In general I don't like upbeat music. I actually consider death metal and the such to be upbeat usually because I listen to it when I'm feeling good.

Aside from metal, I'm quite a bit into some free jazz, 40s swing, a little bit of varied drum and bass stuff, HEAPS of psytrance, loads of Indian music and a little bit of 70s punk. I also delve a little into noise music when I feel like it.

Obviously, MASSES of classical music. I need to listen to the stuff everyday to live.

Yeah I dig punk both classic, moder, alt punk bit of it all. Noise is ok sometimes but most electronic music annoys me. I like small ensemble jazz and some free jazz. Hmm *ponders* I'm sure I'll come up with something else later.

There is nothing I really hate
I'm not going to lie and say "RRRRAP IS SHIZZZZOTTTT!" In a death metal voice because once in a while there is a very meaningful song that I enjoy. (These meaningful songs are usually in a movie. Example The song at the end of coach Carter)
Country- Johnny Cash is awesome, I love hurt
Rock-Sure, you have to tone it down once in a while
Blues- Lovin the solos
Techno- I have made my own techno song
Metal- Duh
Opera- Metal opera yes, otherwise no
Hiphop- I like K-os once in a while
Punk- I wannnnnaaa BEEEEEEEE...Anarchy!

I love, love, love music of all kinds.....

Classic Rock of course, which includes Southern Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Blues Rock, Arena Rock, and Glam Metal.

I love the blues, the foundation for what we know as metal.

Classical music is the music i learned to play first, which includes Baroque, Romantic, and Classical. The music of Bach, Chopin, Mozart, and Schubert, Mendelssohn, and Pachelbel. I always have appreciated the old music and it's many intricacies.

Classic Metal - the original "metal". I love Steppenwolf, Blue Oyster Cult, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, etc. The kind of music that was first considered to be "Heavy Metal" of sorts.

Thrash, Speed, Power, Symphonic, Progressive, Neo-Classical, and folk metal are the modern metal genres that i enjoy. Although i'm not a big fan of Death and Doom metal, i'd say this list covers quite a bit of the new metal that's out there.

Bluegrass is pretty good, but to a lesser extent. I love how intricate it is, much like the classical orchestral music. Some of it is a little too out there, but i definitely appreciate it and like a bit of it.

I enjoy a little country, but mostly the old stuff, like Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson. Not a bigh fan of the newer stuff at all, because much like modern rock music, it is all the same and most of it is created out of the desire for money and fame, NOT for the musicality or love of performing.

Oldies are good too, like 50's rock and etc. Frank Sinatra is FANTASTIC.

and of course, folk-rock like Bob Dylan and Paul Butterfield

However, i DON'T like Rap, new country, modern rock, death metal, scream-o metal, modern pop (i like some 80's pop, like Talking Heads, Blondie, Flock of Seagulls, A-Ha, and Yes) or r&b or whatever it's called

so i guess i like alot of music, but there is still some that i don't much care for

I really can't think of any country I like or rap for that matter besides maybe a little bit of Public Enemy. I like Johnny Cash if you want to call him country but I think he really transcends any genre he's the ****. Actually I'll take this moment to pitch my theory that Cash was the first punk rocker.

Well I'm pretty tolerant musically and it still makes me crazy. Ok let me define. I can't stand trance or rave techno, psytrace is ok, and old school techno makes me crazy as well. So yeah I like a song or two once or twice but after that it gets really old.
