For weightlifting: reps 8-10 = bulk
12-15 = lean Last three reps MUST be intense, anything more than 15 means you need more weight.

I'm 6' 0" and 185 pounds.
I think the best thing for muscle is to alternate what you work out. Do biceps one day, triceps the next, then abs, etc. You should work out every muscle I think every 3-4 days. It shouldn't be too bad for you if you actually go to a gym.
Another thing, take in as much protein as possible, so read labels. Milk and chicken is good. Drink a whole bunch of milk.

i men, you can only work out your triceps for like 10 minutes.....right? i mean, do you do like 5 different excersizes that incorperate the triceps? the way i had been doing everything is muscle to muscle, lifting 8 reps 3 sets to failure. but i would do upper body one day and lower body next day. and each day i would try running, like 1-2 miles. i want to make it to the 3-4 mile mar soon

im like 5-7 and 147...i want to be at least 135 if i cant be muscular.

Well, I do switch it up some. I have two exercises for each muscle (except biceps, not a lot I can do there) so I end up doing each exercise about once a week.
The dumbells I have can only hold 35 pounds on each, so I actually have more tone than actual muscle so I need a new set.

I don't like working all the upper or lower body at the same time and the reason is this:
When I'm benching, it's for my chest and triceps, but I still need my biceps to lower the bar, which won't work if my biceps are jelly from the exercise five minutes before. It may be easier to do that in a gym where you can target each muscle even more specifically.

oh good, thats what i was hoping.
yeah, i usally grab the dumbell, and curl. then situps, then do the thing where you put your arms through the straps and try lifting your hanging legs (lower ab workout)
then i do pullups with palms away from me, then bench, seated row, different tpyes of pullups (palms in or out) then pecs
then i run like a mfer.
i have been doing this 2-3 times a week, i have noticed veeery little improvement. i expect it to take 6 months to a year....damn its slow moving

My weight is around 65-70kgs, is that 150lbs? And my lenght is 175cm, that is probably 5,7feet? I'm not into those american things...
I train pretty much for fun, dont have real plans but i do mostly something like this:
Monday:gym or running
Tuesday:martial arts (something wrestling-related)
Wednesday(Gym if i got time before/after band practices)
Thursday:Martial arts (standing this time, more like boxing and kicks)
Friday and saturday: gym or running
Sunday: Martial arts (random this time)
There is every week a day or a few rest, but the rest days are random Smile
I should lenghten my runs a little and concentrate a little more on the gym, I could improve my strenght by spending the same time on gym and just doing the practice better but well.. at least I'm having fun Smile

I am 6' 5" and I weigh 320 lbs. I'm overweight, but I don't look too big because of my height. I'm pretty proportional
