Here's something nice for you kiddies today, my absolute favorite band of all time

THE DOORS

The Doors, formed in 1965 by vocalist Jim Morrison, Keyboardist Ray Manzarek, percussionist John Densmore, and guitarist Robby Krieger, were one of the first bands to adopt a darker sound in the '60s. There first self titled album was an instant classic, peaking at the #2 spot on the billboard. The Doors sound is instantly recognizable due to their lack of bass guitar, as Manzarek used his Fender Rhodes piano for bass. One reason why The Doors' popularity soared was their musical diversity, as their material included Blues Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Jazz Rock, and Hard Rock. The Doors released 9 studio albums - 6 with Jim Morrison, 2 without Morrison (due to Morrison's passing), and 1 which was previous recordings of Morrison's poetry, dubbed over with music by the surviving Doors. If you haven't listened to much of their music, i highly recommend it.

Yeah thats what it is just looked at it. Yeah my mom gave it to me and told me the story about it and now it's one of my prized possessions, I give it a listen here and there but I really dont want to mess it up lol. My mom gave me that and my dad gave me his Led Zepplin II vinyl.

Nice man! I would definitely guard those lol. I'd like to start collecting more vinyls but alot of them cost quite alot. I only own like 3 records but i'd really like to start collecting them. There is just something about vinyl records that is cool as hell.

Yeah I own a number, most of mine are newer though and I really avoid "collectable" vinyl's cause those always cost an assload for no reason. And yeah like original press classic vinyls get expensive out the ass.
