Do you guys get subscriptions to any? The only magazine I get is Game Informer and I look forward to it every month, so I figured if i got a good heavy metal magazine, I could look forward to 2 lol. I've looked into Decibel, Metal Hammer, and Revolver, and so far I'm leaning towards Decibel because it's pretty cheap and the issues look like they contain bands that i actually care about. Revolver is the cheapest, but they also cover crap I don't care from like Disturbed, Underoath, Slipknot, etc. Metal Hammer looks awesome too, but it's out of the UK so it costs like 80 bucks for 12 issues. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Revolver is either 5/5 or 0/5 way too hit or miss for me.
Metal Maniacs was the best but it went OOP about two months ago RIP!
Decible is pretty good from what I've heard.
Metal Hammer is going downhill from the words of my British contacts.
Terrorizer seems to be the best right now but it's also European.
Explicitly Intense is very good. http://www.explicitlyintense.com/Home.html They used to be a print zine but have decided to move to an online zine instead but still have full content.

So I would suggest Decible or manage to find some fan zines those are always good.

I use http://www.gamespot.com and http://www.gamefaqs.com for games and http://metal-archives.com for music, although it's kind of a raw approach...staring at a list of 80,000 bands and all. For me these things pretty much make a magazine unnecessary but such would be entertaining. I kind of feel like I would get a book before I would get a magazine...I don't know.

I like IGN for games and the odd movie list
I don't really trust movie reviews as much as game reviews
