I'm playing Eternal Sonata again, and I must say, it is a fantastic little RPG. Some people will be turned off by the goofy storyline, but I kinda like it. It is set the legendary composer Frederic Chopin's "dream land" while he is on his death bed. In the story, when people get certain fatal illnesses, magic abilities come with them as side effects. The game utilizes a combination of turn based and real time combat, reminiscent of the critically acclaimed "Tales" series (Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Vesperia, Tales of Fantasia, etc). The game also features a fantastic soundtrack, utilizing many of Chopin's works.

Graphics: (5/5)
The games graphics are very well done, anime-comic style. The cartoonish look is a nice change in pace from all of the ultra realistic graphics out there.

Sound: (5/5)
The games sound is superb. The soundtrack features numerous songs that are all very well written.

Controls (4/5)
The combat system is very good, but sometimes it can be a bit frustrating. Some of the characters do not respond as well as the others, but overall, the controls are fantastic. The mixture of real time and turn based combat is very nice.

Story (3/5)
The story is probably the weakest aspect of this game. For some, it can be far too goofy.

Overall, this game is very well made and fun to play. I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of traditional Japanese RPGs, such as "Tales of Symphonia", "Lost Odyssey", "Blue Dragon", or "Star Ocean".

Good review
My one and only complaint
That Mother ****ing underwater dungeon was ****ing bullshit
I was stuck there for 4 hours I swear
I was so close to ****ing losing it

Besides that one scene the game is amazing
I love the soloiquy's before special attacks
Francois is extremely interesting to listen to
Very intelligent life lessons

Wow thanks! Yeah one thing that really annoys me is the rotating fortress. I forget what it's called, Fort Fermata or something, where you have to rotate the platforms to fix the circular bridge. That was super frustrating for me. But yeah, I personally love the story and dialogue. And Viola is amazing. She is the most fun to play as imo

By FAR the worst part about Pokemon. Ugh, I was constantly spending all of my money on repels and stuff because that pissed me off so very much
