PostSubject: The Song of the Day (rough approx) 13 BRUTE   Sat May 16, 2009 1:16 am

Well kiddies, long time no see. Today on the menu is a little Power Metal band some of you may have heard of called, uh....STRATOVARIUS! I have been going on a binge as of late. I have made an effort to listen to the entire Stratovarius discography at 10.5 hours. Im about 3 hours in and loving it. In honor of their new album, Polaris, i think i will showcase an older song of theirs from their hayday. Omg, listen to the keyboard solo in here. it is ****ing epic. Im going to go out on a limb, but Kissing the Shadows is like, "WTF MATE!!!!?!?!?!?!?!". yes. it is that good.

Now i present
Forever Free - Stratovarius

They try to give me answers
To questions I've never asked
I'll have no part in their conspiracy
I guess I am the kind of
Guy that will never stray
The thing I need is privacy
Some guiding, depriving
Misleading and combining
They're watching our every move
They can try to bind our arms
But they can't chain our minds or hearts
We will keep our faith inside our souls
And never let it go - we are forever free
You see them making headlines
New pictures tell old stories
Explaining what they have said and done
Media's new illusion
Creating more confusion
But I know that they'll soon be gone
Some guiding, depriving
Misleading and combining
They're watching our every move
They can try to bind our arms
But they can't chain our minds or hearts
We will keep our faith inside our souls
And never let it go - we are forever free
They can try to bind our arms
But they can't chain our minds or hearts
We will keep our faith inside our souls
And never let it go
They can try to bind our arms
But they can't chain our minds or hearts
We will keep our faith inside our souls
And never let it go - we are forever free
Forever free, forever free
Forever free
Forever free
We are forever free
We are - we are forever free

Visions - Stratovarius

As previously said Kotipelto is amazing so I like it. Though I have to say I like his solo work better.

oh, the video you sent.
i totally forgot. i have been very busy of late. and its not on youtube, so i doubly forgot. im sorry. ill get around
the power metal video? it was (not so good) becuase you dubbed one song over it. and then had a list. you are essentially asking the viewer to search out the songs
and remember, the viewer is ALWAYS the laziest ass you have ever met. the viewer never wants to do any work

i think you should make it again, and then actually post the music. not make a yt video, but just put music links here, i know i would be much more inclined to listen

Yeah at that point I didn't feel like redoing the track or something. I have been planning on redoing it and posting it on megavideo.... and the solos vid, I will be making more (maybe). It was supposed to be an on going list of all of my favorites, but if this one doesn't get more than 10 views, I'm going to give up on it lol
