This is a cool little website that will stream music based off of what you like. For example, I typed in "Children of Bodom" into the search engine, and it started playing a playlist of them and similar bands. I got Children of Bodom, Norther, Kalmah, Dark Tranquility, Soilwork, and in Flames. It's really a cool website

AWESOME!

It doesn't work as good for the obscure stuff but for anything else it is pretty sick.

I tried Suffocation it went...
Suffocation
Necrophagist (here it quoted great musicianship, which is damn right)
Decapitated
Morbid Angel
Suffocation (again)
Cannibal Corpse
Death

Then I thought to myself, "Yeah you know death metal, but do you know black metal?" Seriously I have NEVER seen a smart black metal list from an AI or any thing like that.

So I tried Mayhem...
Mayhem - From the Dark Past
(here it quotes vocal centric aesthetic, which surprised me. that's very true)
Darkthrone - Pagan Winter (wow very good)
Gorgoroth - Open the Gates
Emperor - I am the Black Wizzards
And I stopped here.

This is awesome Axe! Thanks for sharing I am definitely going to be using this. And I can ban songs too! Unfortunately I haven't seen anything stupid yet but the fact that I can ban it is awesome. I mean ban it from a station for a month.

Your quitewelcome man. My brother showed me this, apparently he used this to listen to music at work. I was thoroughly impressed with the bands they associate with your choice

I don't listen to much black metal, so I have to ask: was that a good playlist?

Yeah. Although when I tried Xasthur it didn't come up with as much that was related but that's probably because most bands that are similar to Xasthur aren't popular at all. It did come up with Burzum and an atmospheric Emperor song so it was pretty good.

On slacker you make a radio station for yoruself and then add artists you like and it will find artists like taht and ect and its just a big blob station. Or you can just type in an artists and it will just play that artists prebuilt station.
