PostSubject: Hobbies and stuff   Thu Jul 09, 2009 11:00 pm

So what do you guys do?

I play guitar.... a lot
Music takes up a lot of my time. I listen to music 75% of the time I'm awake
I love to play video games, usually RPGS and stuff
I like to read, but I don't do it that much anymore
I used to play football, as most of your know. I still like to watch it on occasion
I watch too much TV, but I'm only into 2 or 3 shows right now so I don't watch so much
I spend way too much time surfing the web
But, I'm usually on this forum. This forum kicks ass

=)
I spend 80% of my free time on this forum lol. Try to beat my post count, please someone I dare you.
I haven't played Xbox for a while. Then out of nowhere I bought Culdcept saga (f***ing great), borrowed Mirrors Edge (Meh), downloaded a fallout expansion that I have yet to play, bought COD 4 and Bad Company and I'm about to activate a month of live that ramsy gave me. <3 Ramsy.

I have read 1/4 of a thick Stephen King book. But now the story I'm on is a prequel to the dark tower series which is really boring so far. 5 pages of explaining the towns building. f***. 1984 was amazing.

I have switched from reading to Pokemon games, but I will go back to reading.

I used to work out 6 days a week. Now I'm at about 1-2 days a week. Sh*t

I haven't played guitar in so long, I lost all my skill. FML why did I let this happen. I blame xbox.

883 songs, I am recovering slowly

Yes there was one, but it was a long time ago before I joined. So, I made a new one. TAKE THAT original thread maker! Bwa ha ha

to Dies

I don't download everything that I might like, because I would never get around to listening to it. At one time, I download at most 3 albums to listen to, because I want to learn about cool songs. So I pretty much only download the stuff that I am in love with

I love near enough every song I have on my hard drive: If I download an album and don't like it, I delete it straight away.

Bare in mind this is years worth of collecting. The majority maybe metal, but I have some decent pop (Bowie/Beatles) for example, a fair bit of classical (mainly baroque stuff), quite a bit of indie/art rock stuff, like Pretty Girls Make Graves, some Jazz, practically every glam album ever made, a tiny bit of country (Cash, Alan Jackson etc), a select choice of post-hardcore (At-The Drve In!) and some old soul/blues stuff.

I'll listen to any and all types of music, and If you listen to it as much as I do for as long as I have, the collection soon builds up.

The only stuff I refuse to listen to is brass band crap and acid jazz. Yuk.

I listen to a lot of the same stuff. I love baroque music, and of course classic rock...

Hahahaha. Yeah I wouldn't be able to rave either but more just because I would start hating myself because I would be doing something physically expressive. Raves look pretty intense though.

oh yeah, my laptop. no gaming monster. but it will run the half life series on full quality and i bet it wpould run fear.

i might be able (not gettin my hopes up) to run Crysis, but on wayyyy limited settings. i meet most of the minimum settings. and i ran hl2 on my dekstop on below minimum settings.

that being said..how would i go about getting a test or craxked version of cysis?

You're kidding yourself unless you have 4GB RAM and at least dual 2.5ghz processors. There are quadcore computers that have struggled to run it on medium.

Wait for the console friendly Crysis 2.

It doesn't matter, if you meet minimum requirements, that means it will run at about 1 frame per second on the lowest settings: it will be unplayable laggy rubbish to you.
