Can be really awesome actually. I was introduced to Infected Mushroom by a friend, and I have been listening to some of their stuff. It will never be as cool as metal, but it's cool.

Infected Mushroom automatically gets brownie points for having an unconditional love for The Doors. but they are way cool

I've mentioned it before, but I'm a Crystal Castles fan, which is more new rave really, and in response to what else can you do with, well dance obviously, you know in a bar, with the opposite sex, something you do before you get to the, er how did you put it, oh yes, "f*cking".

I can't say I've slept with a woman yet who have liked some Infected Mushroom in the backround. I usually don't play music, it seems cheesy and obvious.

Anyway CC:

Justice are cool too, don't blame me for liking them, I live in the rave capital of England, I get this stuff thrown at me everyday, you have to succombe sometime:

New rave FTW.

I'm listening to Melancholie2 right now so I'll listen to the band you mentioned later but I'll just comment on techno in general. I've always thought techno had amazing potential to be great music but I just don't know where to look; I'd have to start from block 1 and it's boring sifting endless amount of music that isn't fun to listen to. I might do it some day and if I ever find something I'll share. Maybe this stuff is good I'll give it a listen later.

The other two things on my list for potential for me to become a major fan of are classical music and...um...something else rather embarrassing.

If you're going into the more classical side of music, start with Chopin: he does amazing things with a piano. Requiem by Mozart is pure gold too:

Okay well I guess I'm actually doing this...at least a little bit.

Results so far:
Unfounded = Nothing great found yet.
Potential = Chances I think I might find something great in the genre if I took the time to look for it.

Acid Techno: Unfounded / Little Potential
-Strange but pretty open ended.

Detroit Techno: Unfounded / Little Potential
-Sounds pretty mellow and simplistic and it uses some good instruments.

Free Tekno: Unfounded / Little Potential
-Fast and party-geared. I don't hear soul.

Ghettotech: Unfounded / No Potential
-Ummm?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oiB2VRxfOA

J-Tek: Unfounded / Some Potential
-Has melody.

Minimal: Unfounded / Some Potential
-Unlike J-Tek it sounds like it has more otherworldly potential.

Well I guess I didn't mean just techno but also any music that has anything to do with electronica or whatever it is called. I'll figure something out one of these days.

Note: I was posting this while Dies Irae posted his message. I'll get to that and address it.

I listened to Requiem and I honestly thought it was really good music. Funeral March by Chopin hit me deeper; I'll have to check out more of his stuff. At the moment I'm looking for pretty much any form of boundless art with high potential for intensity. I feel like I've hit a wall with Wormphlegm and Xasthur but I want to keep going and maybe focus more on beauty and melody or sorrow and light or something. I know they are near the top of the mountain when it comes to certain things but there are other things as well that I wish to hear. Working on it.

I'm not a very visual person but I did have a favorite picture once. I can't find it any where any more except this one video I by chance happened to run into it randomly...thanks to deathgrind people for being the sick fucks they are.

@ 0:42, my favorite picture. It's gory, not that many here would mind.
My other favorite picture is my avatar.

But anyways it is pretty much left to the ears. Thanks for sharing Chopin and the Requiem song was good too.
