Amazing progressive death metal, listen below, but you really need to download the whole album, again below, and take it as a whole. The bass playing on this album is beyond the description of mere words, Lapointe is clearly a demigod in disguise, as no human could wield a bass so.

i wanted to like this i really did but i don't. the bass sounds sissyish so i don't get that part. i think tech death is a really good idea but i can't think of one single band that has actually impressed me.

It sounds AMAZING!!!

Except.... the screamer. The growls sound good, but the screamer sounds like he should be in Hawethorne Heights, I'm sorry. But I think this is worth a download

Hahahahaha I don't know why I'm so picky about singers. It usually goes two ways, either I HATE it and everyone else wonders why, or I love it and it's hated by everyone else (i.e. Nightwish).

I think I'm going to have to start getting into vocal styles I don't care for

God Faith Puppeteers sounds awesome.

Well I used to always hate clean vocals. I think Opeth changed that for me, but Opeth changed quite a bit for me truth be told. Before Opeth it was all death metal and Marduk.

Hahaha I was the opposite

I was one of the jackass noobs who thought everything that wasn't clean was "screaming". I used to hate anything that wasn't clean. Now I listen to pretty much everything, except screaming and clean singers who sound like they're 5 year olds (Bullet For My Valentine, they have 2 vocal styles I hate)

Yeah it took me a while to get used to female vocals too. Draconian is probably the first band I really liked that had a lot of female vocals in it. I remember when I first heard Nightwish some time ago I turned it off after like 2 seconds and never touched it again for a long time. I know it's sad lol. I think some of their stuff is pretty good now though.

The reasons why I like Nightwish

A.) Awesome female vocals. I don't know why, but it's different and beautiful
B.) Classical AND Folk influences?!?!? Win
C.) Awesome served in frequent, large doses. I can only think of 2 songs I don't like
D.) Marco's beard is cool

Lol Marduk (Marowak)! That thing does sooo much damage if you have thick club equipped as the item. Essentially the highest attack pokemon in the game aside from Deoxys-A or a Medicham with Life Orb.

Wait I'm not helping am I?
