I was bored, so I figured I would post this for you. This is the amount of music I have in each genre in my windows media player. There's plenty more on my zune, because my computer's harddrive is small

Power Metal - 24.4 hours
Classic Rock - 21.6 hours
Folk/Viking Metal - 18.1 hours
Melodic Death Metal - 16 hours
Thrash Metal - 13.3 hours
Symphonic Power Metal - 9.3 hours
Progressive Metal - 7.7 hours
Psychedelic Rock - 5.4 hours
Glam Metal - 4.5 hours
Gothic Metal - 4.4 hours
Progressive Rock - 2.7 hours
Ambient Black Metal - 79 minutes
Symphonic Black Metal - 64 minutes

I omitted a couple of genres that I only had an hour or two of, like punk rock and pop and stuff.

You dare not have any Avant-Garde ? Lol I looked for the weirdest genre I had to call you out on. Apparently one of Buckethead's CD's is avant garde. My itunes also says Equilibrium is World Metal and Lamb of God is groove metal

Yes! Itunes actually did something I agree with! Lamb of God IS groove metal.

yeah, I had to rename all of my folk metal bands because it said they were world music. Apparently anything from a different country is world music, regardless

You know, I could simply list every band I have on my zune and then you can call me out

Thats pathetic. Thats half of just my death metal. I have 43 days in total: this is just my electronic collection, not even taking into account my vast vinyl library.

Yes, but how often do you listen to all of it? I bet the majority of that stuff you rarely listen to. I have a much smaller library, but I listen to everything.

I obviously have a core selection that I listen to more often, but I like to have a choice, and I keep something I haven't listened to at all, or not in a long time on my iPod at all times, just for a change.

Still, my core collection would be 15 days easy. There's so much good stuff out there, I couldn't limit myself further.

Yeah i know what you mean. I have my library condensed though because I have a 40 gb harddrive. But for now my core collection is all that I have, really. Everything else is just on youtube when I want it, until I get a new harddrive

I'm not sure how much music I have. I lost about 2 weeks when my old iPod died. Right now all of my stuff is in RARs but it's probably around 100 albums between my RARs and my new iPod; I haven't been using it incredibly much. Then I have about like 22 CDs myself and Hate sent me nearly 100 CDs that was so cool. I guess I actually listen to most stuff online though.

And yeah my CD collection is small but I'm just starting.

My music is so vast, I haven't been looking for new bands and just looking through my collection. I always have to listen to some Mountain every day.
