I will be putting all the albums up for direct download, but here is a discography torrent. I believe it's missing "Sound Theories", but I will find that. I recommend "Passion and Warfare", "Sex and Religion", and "The 7th Song" is an amazing compilation. I also recommend "Sound Theories" when I put it up, it's a live album with an orchestra, and it's spectacular.

I'm actually not too big of a Vai fan
I think I like Satch better

Satch is too bland, he doesn't have the feel and nuance that Vai does.

Vai:

Satch:

I like them both, but I think Vai is a bit more varied in his ideas and as I said, has a better feel for his instrument.

I definitely like Vai better, but they are both fantastic.

Which albums did you get Brute?

You NEED Passion and Warfare. Sex and Religion is my second favorite album, but Passion and Warfare is just a masterwork.

Anthology is the excellent two disc comp, isn't it? I don't have it but I remember the track listing looked good. Depending on the style you like from him more (heavy or lite) The 7th Song would be an excellent choice as well, but it is a comp CD. It has the 7th track from each of his studio albums, which is supposedly the songs that he put the most soul into writing. So, they are generally the liter, more melodic and relaxing songs

Songs like For the Love of God, Boston Rain Medlody, Touching Tongues, Tender Surrender, etc

If I had to pick, I would choose Satch, I dislike Vai, good guitarist, never liked most of his music. Satch just does more of the stuff I like. If I had to choose between a few, I would do Petrucci, Gilbert, and Malmsteen.

Would I be shot if I said both bored me though I gotta say it took Satriani a bit longer.

I wouldn't shoot you, I would agree. Both are great, but they get boring after a while.
