I've just ordered this, because it looks epic: every Atlus affiliated game I've played has been excellent, and this looks like it could be the best console RPG to date: yeah, this looks like it kicks Obilivion's ass all over

That's a pretty heavy claim

This fall will be the change.

Mass Effect 2 and another Bioware title, Dragon Age: Origins. Also Alpha Protocol, made by the developers of KOTOR II. And there have been some good jrpgs since then, but not many good western rpgs.

I'd take Dragon Age over Mass Effect 2
Medieval trumps space anyday

I am alot more excited for Dragon Age. It is like 5 games in one, because every race has their own story. Mass Effect two will be epic though since it takes your ME1 save files and changes the game based off of your choices in ME1.

I just want another elder scrolls game.

I am so ready to trade in GTA, Mass effect, and Assassins Creed to reserve that
I am tempted to do it now

Dude, I want to teach you about trading in games. Don't do it unless it's a game you don't intend on playing again. Assassin's Creed would be gone for me. Mass Effect will not ever leave my library. GTA IV is iffy. I would probably only trade that for a new elder scrolls game.

But dude, don't trade in games. You will make it so your library is like 4 games and then you will wish you had all the epic games you gave up. I've traded in quite a few games but I've kept all the ones that I thought were amazing, so now my library is only games I thoroughly enjoy

But when I try to relive games I'm usually like, I'm bored, I want a new game

Yesterday I traded in Saints Row for NHL 08 and they owed me money lol. I love my hockey, and that was a good deal. I was totally pissed off at that game

Lololol that was a good trade probably. But I mean, you'll probably play Mass Effect again. Especially when the sequels come out

Yeah probably, I loved it the first 50 hours, but would I want to go through that Citadel thing for the 3rd time?

This game is pure brilliance.

I'm unspeakably pround of the fact that I'm a fair way through the first real area (after the training level), and haven't died (expecting the death that the game enforces on you at the beginning of the game in the training level).

Combat feels weighty, and having done my homework and started as a Royal, I'm destroying everyone I come across with Soul Arrow. The atmosphere is unbelievable, and because I've collected so many souls due to the lack of death, I really am scared I'll get jumped and die... it certainly gets the blood pumping in every fight.

I need a better shield though: heavy attacks rape my defence and leave me open, as I found out when I lost half my life in one attack. I've avoided dabbling in hand to hand after that... wait until I have a lance for close combat.
