Because I can't download music I've been forced to start what I call PROJECT METAL JUKEBOX. I'm just going to get random songs through recording sound off my computer and compile them into my library under the artist name Metal Jukebox.

With that said...

BRING YOUR CHILDREEEN
LET ME KILL THEEEM

This is a very catchy Deeds of Flesh song...

I know but I'm not going to be putting all the data. The idea is to organize it in an unorganized way so I don't have to worry about organizing it further.
All I'm going to be doing is...
Song Title: Artist Name - Song Name
Artist: Metal Jukebox

That's it. I don't want tons of artist and album labels on my ipod that only have one song behind them.

PS: Marduk is power metal.

Oh shit lol. I can just remove the artist Metal Jukebox from my listening list periodically. As long as I don't get messed up entries or things that I never actually did it's fine. It's already a given I listen to lots of stuff that doesn't go into last.fm.

you should probably just tag them all correctly

amateur tagging is probably the number one pet peeve on that site

God dammit I don't want to have to go back to the playlist system. I'll have to create a format like
Death (1988) Leprosy
And then it's going to get mixed in with my actual playlists.

Either that or I'm going to have a bunch of bands on my artist list for which I only have 1 song which would drive me nuts.

I just had 2 songs from Metal Jukebox on my last.fm. I went to artists and removed the artist and now it seems to have erased all the tag-trauma. I don't see what the pain would be if I just removed it every like 10-30 plays.

And yeah I do use whole albums but I'd have to go through and record each song off of each album and I don't have time to do that unless it's something I really special. If I could download it would be different of course.

Well that speeds things up a bit.

By the way there is another thing I could do. I could solely listen to these songs on my ipod so periodically when I scrobble my ipod I could delete them from last.fm and the tag-trauma would only last about 1-2 minutes. We all know that the longer tag-trauma lasts the more pain and damage it does to the website, but I say only 1-2 minutes of tag trauma shouldn't be all that traumatizing.

How in the hell did this thread get so many views so fast?

you could try just correctly tagging the songs and using the sort feature to keep them together

That is a possibility actually, though it would defeat the purpose of being lazy.

Here is what I propose:
If you catch me with tag-trauma for a split moment just let me know or snap shot it and write in big letters "TAG-TRAUMA VR" and I'll do it your way. I know you like to visit my last.fm page multiple times daily to see if I'm listening to a band that I've heard one day ago or two days ago, but I'll get rid of the tag-trauma faster than lightning.

Can't a man have just a little bit of irrelgularities? It's only like 1%. Actually approximately 0.49079754601226993865030674846626% irrelegularities at the moment.

That's a big giveaway wow. I think music coming out of the ears is okay just as long as it's not starting to come out of the mouth, nostrils, and eyes as well it should be fine.

i have a couple irregular things but i try to avoid it. if it can't be made neat and orderly, i delete it. compilations are usually a huge no no.

It's a huge improvement over my old ipod where I would have rap songs under the artist Mayhem.
