Well Clint Mansell is the composer of that track which is actually called Lux Aeterna and is taken from the Requiem For A Dream soundtrack, so I'd suggest you check out more of his work. Also John Murphy who's work is similar to Mansell's in terms of that he is a film score composer. Elend also make neo classical / dark ambient style music and come highly recommended from me. I'd also say check out the album Perdition City by Ulver, it's very cinematic.

John Murphy - The Surface of the Sun (Sunshine OST)

Clint Mansell - Death is the Road to Awe (The Fountain OST)

Elend - The Poisonous Eye

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v9gGk3IgWAI

Ulver - The Future Sound of Music

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vdNKAFmWUY&feature=related

its super depressive black metal or just ambient black metal. yeah yeah, normally i wouldnt even try thius genre, but it is beautiful violins and pianos for like 40 minutes.

give it a shot

It's neoclassical. That isn't their best song either IMO, but a very good "stand alone" track, as the actual album is best listened from beginning to end. Herbstrot isn't on the album but rather was made for a Various Artists CD or something.

yea it can turn a clip of underwater basketweaving into the most exciting thing you've ever seen LOL

I really don't know much about this genre or the bands it contains and I liked the two songs posted...so I wanted to see if you guys had anything else to offer or anything better.

For example Killswitch Engage got me into metal...I asked for better music from people and now I don't even listen to KSE anymore lol

Would you say that listening to Metallica is Pulling Teeth? And when you do you feel like your Killing Time? I know that sometimes I feel like Crash course in brain surgery.

See what I did there? I made 2 songs make sense but the 3rd one didn't!

When I listen to Metallica I feel like I should Ride the Lightning. But this only occured before I decided to Kill 'Em All, because I quickly found myself in a Sanitarium.

Sometimes when I listen to Metallica I feel like Nothing Else matters then I go home and send my prayers out to St. Anger before I sleep at nite.

It should be mandatory that the movie is played for middle school students.

Meth is some dangerous stuff.
