Alright I have some limited experience with the doom genre and I'm really looking to get into it more. So let's just assume I've never heard any before except say Sabbath and work from there.

Thorr's Hammer are f***ing amazing *drool* i've known that for a while now.

I'm interested in stuff more like My Dying Bride the death/doom I guess? And like Funeral doom.

Turn Loose the Swans is their "doomiest", but 'The Light at the End of the World' and 'Like Gods of the Sun' are my favorites. Probably start with End of the World.

All death/doom means in my eyes is Doom with harsher vocals. It's kind of a stupid term.

@Black's genre question

Stoner Doom is psychedelic, Funeral Doom is plodding and depressing, Drone is notes sustained for eternities, Blackened Doom has Black Metal vocals and/or insturmentals, Sludge has punk influences, Death Doom like I said has harsher vocals, Goth Doom is kinda romantic and depressing at the same time.

That was so thrown together, but decent!

Drone is Sun O)) or anything like that
Stoner would be Om??
Blackened Doom could be Primordial perhaps?
Sludge well Eyehategod ect ect ect
Death Doom Early My Dying Bride, Swallow the Sun

Bethlehem - Dark Metal
-Good.
Evoken - Antithesis of Light
-Now my favorite by them.
Katatonia - Brave Murder Day
-Haven't heard much but it sounded great.
The Fall of Every Season - From Below
-Great melodic doom metal. Heard it like 1.2 times will have to get it probably.
