Initially, my intention was to pick a single album, but the process of choosing one particular record was driving me insane, so take your pick and have at it. Oh, and Hate, you'll adore Loudblast, ignore the rest for your own good!

Disembarkation - Rancorous Observision.

Basically Disembarkation were the template band for Augury, with Étienne Gallo playing drums in both bands. If I'm being honest, I actually prefer this to Fragmentary Evidence. Great tech death that isn't overly wanky.

mediafire.com ?buttijymzmd

In Tormentata Quiete - Teatroelementale

Avant-garde melodic black metal. This album is stunning. They're Italian, and all the lyrics are sung in their native tongue, with the vocals carrying the accent really well. Mixing in atmosphere, some folk touches, a little saxophone solo... they pull it all off remarkably well.

mediafire.com ?djydim0tnmm

Loudblast - Sublime Dementia

Vastly underrated death metal classic. Taking a dose of Human era death, they play extremely well crafted and hook riddled death metal that I can't recommend enough.

megaupload.com 00N314NO

Spazztic Blurr - Befo Da Awbum

The just aren't words for the genius on display here. Eclectic crossover thrash with zany ideas and lots of humour, they make Ghoul look insipid. Unlike a lot of comedy albums, the muscianship on here doesn't suck. An underrated gem that deserves more recognition then it ever got.

Awesome. I'll check at least one of these out today or tomorrow. If I like what I hear I'll look into the others as well.

I liked all of them. It took a few listens to get into the thrash album, but I like it. It's kinda like a punk band playing thrash...

Tormenta, right now it at about 7/10 for me
But this is the kind of album I know is going to grow with me in time
Don't ask I just know

In Tormentata Quiete is very interesting. At first I was annoyed by the clean vocals because they were in Italian. For some reason, that language doesn't sound too great to me. But as I listened to the album, they grew on me. They give the music a flavor that no other bands in my collection have, because they are the only band to sing in Italian/spanish.

Vocals, aside I find that the music is very good. Sometimes there are really funky sounding beats and bass riffs, and other times the music is surviving on a breath of beautiful classical music. As the album progresses I notice how it fits together as a whole, and I've noticed that this album is definitely an album that should be listened to in it's entirety. I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially on the second listen. Probably an 8/10 for me, which means it's a spectacular album. Thanks for sharing Dies, this definitely calls for some plus rep.

Now, onto the tech death!

Ok, my two cents

by far, the standout in my eyes is In Tormentata Quiete. i think this is one of the better things i have heard in a long time. super tame black metal which is good for a newb like me. i totally dig the progressive vibe. the whole album is amazing.
9/10
(im not easily impressed, but when i am, it is always emphatic.)

disembarkation
almost better than augury. the vocals are a bit more, hmmm, tolerable? in this band. has that same bass that i know and love from augury. overall solid as a 2x4, though nothing truly fascinating
6.8/10

loudblast
didnt make it all the way through. seemed kinda generic, though i could be talking out my ass. seemed old. like old thrash, but with death inspire vocals. it is good for a song or two, but nothing stood out to me
4/10

spazztic blurr
weird. just plain weird. idk what to say about it. the opening track really made me mad. i think that set the tone for the next 5 songs i heard. ill have to listen to this with a fresh mind later
3/10

overall dies, i give YOU a 7.8/10. Nice choices, i,m glad you didnt pick kvlt black metal and really weird shit that would make me want to vomit. i felt as though you picked a little of everything for everybody, which was safe, and smart
kudos to you sir, and rep for your trouble

Byd, this is how it starts, you know. One day it's "I like Blink 182", the next it's "I think I like men".

Finally had the chance to listen to some of these today. Here's what I think.

Disembarkation - Rancorous Observision

Eh... not the biggest tech death fan. Plus the intro tricked me into thinking it was going to be death/doom. 6/10

In Tormentata Quiete - Teatroelementale

Didn't think it was too great, but it wasn't bad either. 7/10

Loudblast - Sublime Dementia

I actually liked this album. M-A had them as thrash so I put them in my thrash folder. Obviously that is not the case. 8/10
