The topic was brought up because of a Science assignment i'm doing. The question I ask is why do people think there is some kind of ethical problem with using animal cells, tissue and organs to save human lives? Surely it's just like using a dead humans organs?

Your thoughts?

I guess if a species was going extinct we don't have the luxury of fucking around killing stuff.

i just heard of this recently. seems really cool. personally, i have practically 0 qualms about any science thing. i think any development in science should be celebrated, and not seen as an avenue of "wasting money, time, and resources"

Byd, this is how it starts, you know. One day it's "I like Blink 182", the next it's "I think I like men".

I guess if it works it would be okay, but the thing is how can scientists be absolutely sure an organ from a different animal would be compatible with humans

Because God created us a certain way, and even though there is a divine plan that will indefinitely happen we can still fuck it up.
