Arkona is one of my favorite bands (personally my favorite band with a female vocalist). They are pagan folk metal from Russia.. I'm not sure if all of you heard of them or not.
If you could give them a listen or two you might like them, they stand out a lot to me.. But that's me.

I have heard of them, but have never listened to them. I'll give them a listen when I get back from Chicago tomorrow

i havent heard of them
and i love metal from, like, OTHER countries other than Scandinavia. France and Italy know whats up. but russia? i am SUPER intrigued. and female vocals? when chicks front a band...it is usually hit or miss, but when its good, it is awesome

greatly anticipating this. thanks Senrae

Byd, this is how it starts, you know. One day it's "I like Blink 182", the next it's "I think I like men".
