Simply list the members of bands or solo artists that have achieved God-status in your eyes.

Jim Morrison
The best lyricist of all time, and has one of the greatest voices I have ever heard. I can't really explain why I love him so much.

Steve Vai
He has sex with teh guitar.

Jari Maenpaa
He has sex with teh guitar [2].

Kai Haito
Probably my favorite drummer, although it's close. He's just so precise, in everything he's done. He was also in the only grindcore band I enjoy

Bruce Springsteen
Songwriting doesn't get much better. His music is timeless.

John Lennon
Cliche, but he was a visionary and it went through in his music. Even though I think it's futile to promote world peace, his attempts to bring people together make him worthy of enormous respect

Petri Lindroos
He's not as technical as most guitar players, but his playing is very precise and clean. Also, he has one of the best harsh voices I have ever heard.

Mike Portnoy
I am in love with technical drummers like him. He's so good.

Chris Adler
as much as people here dislike Lamb of God, they make some of the grooviest metal around. Adler's sound makes the band, I think, along with Randy's vocals. His snare is so high, I love it. And his style is just so clean.

Probably a lot more, but these are the ones that come to mind right now

Jari Maenpaa
Axe, you already mentioned him. Fucking god, simple as that.

Angus Young
He may not be the most skilled guitarist ever, but have you seen the guy perform? No-one is more entertaining on stage than him.

Brian May
Unbelievable guitarist. Queen have some of the best solos ever written.

Steve Harris
He formed and wrote most of the material for one of the greatest bands ever. What more do you need?

Bruce Dickinson
Nuff said.

Jerry Cantrell
Great guitarist, great singer, his harmonies just make AiC work.

Lemmy
The guy's a legend in every concievable way.

Jari Maenpaa
Why? He writes some of the most beautiful metal music and is changing the definition of metal as we know it.

Leslie West
Shows that anyone can be a great guitar player, and just one of my favorite musicians

George Harrison
My favorite Beatle, one of the most talented players.

Hansi Kursh
Amazing singer, with humble backgrounds

Jerry Cantrell
Why the fuck shouldn't I like him? He's a god.

Eric Peterson
One of my favorite guitar players.
