dlor, LOR, and I were in a ska/rock esque band, and i felt like practicing was a chore because i really wasn't passionate about the music and im glad it is different with Lor. Practice is now the 1 thing i look forward to every week.

Every fucking time I join a band they never practice, nor are they serious, and they just complain about constructive criticism.

Every fucking time.

I have a demo out already, though it's poorly written and recorded (hey, it was good for a first try Razz)

I've got a much better EP coming out soon, once I finish writing the final draft of lyrics and them placing them in the song.

Also going to start a thrash/punk/grind band or whatever. If I can find band members, that's great, but I'll start recording as a one-man project soon.

I use a wire to connect the headphone jack of my effects pedal into the microphone slot in my computer.

I've tried using tape, but it's too damn annoying. The new recording doesn't sound bad at all.

I use Reaper to record/mix everything, it works great.

Don't know that many people who play instruments. One of my friends is maybe getting drum lessons but that's about it. And only one of my friends likes metal, and she gave up guitar after about a month. LOL

My dad has a friend that we're visiting next Saturday who's in a band that records quite a lot.

I could ask him what he uses if you want. He says it's brilliant.

Reaper is basically like Winrar in that it has a message pop up where you can "continue the evaluation," but you can use it for however long you want and the software isn't crippled in the free version.

And yes, you can adjust the volume of individual tracks very easily.

We are in the process of recording. Going back to hopefully finish up this Friday.

However, we're terrible, so don't get any kind of expectations.

It is sooo much better than Audacity.

I tried to record my first demo with Audacity, and then switched to Reaper. Oh man, best recording move ever.

It will just be as bad as AMoLaD. They still rock live, but they haven't produced a decent album since Virtual XI and even that is a bit dodgy.

iron maiden has a new album......
le sigh.

It will just be as bad as AMoLaD. They still rock live, but they haven't produced a decent album since Virtual XI and even that is a bit dodgy.

I wouldn't say that, Brave New World and Dance of Death had some pretty cool songs

Any Maiden album with an X in it sucks ass. Their albums since then have been infinitely better because Blayze does not fit with Iron Maiden.

Rainmaker is a very good song

Byd, this is how it starts, you know. One day it's "I like Blink 182", the next it's "I think I like men".

Axe did specify Maiden albums... he doesn't have some weird vendetta against the letter X.

Wow I didn't know all of those bands were actually Iron Maiden. They've really had some highs and lows, haven't they? I mean going from Njiqahdda to Statix X?
