You used to love years ago? And when you hear your really excited and happy; and then you don't want to hear it again for months or years? I was driving home today and Smells like Teen Spirit was on the radio and I'm like aw fuck yeah! However, I know if I heard it within the next year I would not care at all

Lol I dunno sometimes when I hear Moi Dix Mois or Malice Mizer I get all excited. But those are the only things that I used to listen to that I can think of making me excited. Sometimes some Queen, ELO or Deep Purple.. I haven't really listened to any of those since I was a child. The other day I heard some Jim Croce which was fun. XD Hmmm..

Sometimes when I hear COB I either have to listen to something or else or I'll continue to listen. I used to love 'em to bits.

I used to like Nirvana, but I dare not listen to them now.

Once I year I go on a As I Lay Dying binge, a small one that lasts for usually a day, but I still like that band.

I love "Better Get Ready to Die" or whatever by Andrew WK. I have not heard it in years.

some bands that i used to love and i don't listen to anymore, but i still like them and think they're my influences and are the pillars of my metal love, like guns n roses, AC/DC, led zeppelin, aerosmith, ramones... when someone put some song of them, i have an awesome feeling, but then, i don't have the need to listen to that bands for like, an year or until someone put it again, if this makes any sense.

sorry i'm drunk.

First time I ever drank alcohol was when I was 5.

And it definitely wasn't the last time.

I didn't bother drinking till I graduated from high school. Everyone who drank at my school were douchey and I didn't feel like joining such shenanigans.

its a different mind set in different countries. we in a america, who are brainwashed into thinking drinking is the devil, find it strange when people not in highschool start getting into drinking and such. this brainwashing, actually makes the problem worse i think. kids start binge drinking because when the get the chance to finally drink, they do it too much. and also kids do it becuase breaking the law "is cool". if america was more relaxed about it, their would be less problems i think. i think people in other countries since they are around it more do not treat it as this forbidden fruit and therefore do not do as stupid shit as we do (not saying their isnt people who dont do stupid shit in other countries). then again, i do not know for sure, but the exchange students in my school seemed pretty astonished when our students kept bragging about how drunk they got last night (by the way, this may have only happened becuase our school has many tools but you never know). its funny to me. going on forums and actaully finally witnessing the differences firsthand is pretty interesting to me. sorry for changing the topic of the thread. wanted to point that out. its intriguing.

so on topic
THEIR ARE SO MANY SONGS I USED OBSESS OVER and now find myself skipping through them when im on shuffle on my zune. im literally bored with almost all the music on my zune now. its ridiculous. i just need to finally get that freakin new equilibrium album. (i buy cds- part of the problem i think- cant obtain music quick enough) by the way, equilibrium is streaming their whole album on their myspace right now. listening to it right now. AWESOME

well, in portugal, you're supposed to not drink until you're 18. but all the stores like mini-markets or groceries stores sell alcohol to everyone.
bars don't. but if you wanna do a party, you can buy alcohol easily here.
there's a lot of stupid people here too... like that mama's tidy boys that when they go out at night they drink just to impress everyone, because they think it's cool, and get all drunk with 3 or 4 beers... it's sad to watch that.

yeah. i guess its everywhere. i just have the feeling that everywhere else people have a more relaxed perception of it though. i would never be able to walk into a store and buy alcohol unless im 21. i feel like we are doing it wrong here in the US. lol

LOL.
maybe.
well, Portugal it's a really small country, so, the people who see you with a bottle of jack in your hand will always discriminate you, because it's a really conservative country, because of the big amount of christians.
i personally don't believe in any religion, so, i don't mind.
fuck them.

lol. if it works, it works. people will discriminate regardless i think. not many discriminate here because of religion though. its mainly based off whats considered "normal" and "acceptable" which is totallly freakin relative and i hate it. cheers though. beer i still have to wait 3 years before its legally and socially acceptable for me, though it doesnt really hinder much.

I have to wait 4, and I don't think that will bother me too much Very Happy
I don't drink too much (just when it's some party, so, 4 or 5 times a month...) and when I drink I don't have any problems, so, the age it's not a problem.

maybe xD

but the US are great in some things.
for example, metal in Portugal it's still a thing of the Devil, that just satanics and junkies listen to.
I hate that.
why can't I wear my Metallica's Metal Up Your Ass shirt?
why can't I wear my Slayer's shirt?

because it's evil? for GOD's sake.
