Rome is probably my favorite when it comes to folk musics, also :Of the Wand and the Moon: is very nice. I know a few of you listen to them...

Also, I like to listen to Joan Baez now and then, she's a pretty neat folk artist. Maybe you've heard her song "Diamonds and Rust" by Joan herself or a cover of it..

Here's some artists that I find to be particularly good. Plus I'm skipping the ones you should already know like Death in June, Sol Invictus, Current 93, Agalloch, Etc

Al Di Meola is good jazz fusion/folk/whatever stuff.

I personally wouldn't put Al Di Meola here because I view him more as a latin jazz/fusion type dude
