Man, you have a Vypyr which has pretty decent distortion (at least when ive played them), just get an overdrive pedal to beef your sound up a little bit. Same with you Lor

thats not why i have it. i use it mainly for ease of operation. i have an zakk wylde od though, and i already love the sound of my peavey and i do try to avoid the metal zone when possible live and i completely avoid it when recording. the metal zone just sucks and i hate that i spent money to get it- thats just my point. i basically only use it for practice. also the digitech death metal sucks as well. everything fucking sucks lol. go with the natural amp sound. though i have heard the jekyll and hyde distortion/od is pretty impressive but its pretty expensive too. and dark, if you have a footswitch for your amp, use that or get one. they aint expensive if you can find it.

no point. low gain setting are weak and thin and shitty on it. besides its not transparent at all. my zakk wylde od does the job though.

I need it more for switching between clean and disortion really. I want to buy a decent one instead of just buying out of desperation.

Definetly not within my price range right now. I might just ask around and see if anyone else has one I could use then buy a decent one later.
