I was at my buddy Johnny's house and he has like 4000 games. I was messing around playing a bunch for the first time and it was fairly fun, here are my impressions

Resident evil 5
Mercenaries is a blast, non-stop co-op with fun weapons. The campaign is awful, Resident evil and Resident evil 4 were so much better. This doesn't even try to be scary, which completely ruins it, it turned into an average TPS. Disappointed, plus my friend and I were at each others throat for sharing ammo.

Dragon Age- I picked a woman in a noble class. It had a typically Bioware feel- great. The one thing I noticed is that the NPC's react or should I say do not react to what you say in some key situations. I told this important character that I thought they were drunk and they replied with a completely unrelated response. I'm expecting too much, I will buy this one day, looked and felt good, heavy on story

Halo Reach- Can they stop tweaking the guns? The elites really improved on their AI, they run all over the place, they take cover more than I do. Its cool to fight with Spartans but I dunno I just think this series has been run to the ground, its been like 10 years and there has been what 6 Halo games including Halo Wars. Its a good game, but its simply losing effect on me. I'm sure the ending levels have really epic moments though

Final Fantasy 13- Holy crap the graphics were so good- 5 minutes in I wanted to borrow it. Damn, its almost photo realistic. The game kinda played itself, and was a bit of an interactive movie but that was fun, good stuff

The PS2 games are so cheap. I had a CD that was badly scratched, so I just bought the game again. It was Gran Turismo 4, so definitely a $60 game when it came out. Replacement = $10. Imagine how many games you could get for so cheap. You could get a crappy job and live someplace cheap, smoke cigs every fucking day, and still buy so many games that you'd never run out of life to waste.

i dont see the problem. we are having a conversation. thats how it works. its a dumb one, but a conversation nonetheless. cant stay on one topic the whole time. thats not how conversations naturally go. they usually end up somewhere else.

take for instance this. we are now conversing about conversations.

And this conversation is now about the economic state of the world and the individual methods in which it can be overcome.

Or pirates.

Here Comes The Pain was the best in my opinion. Unfortunately my copy of it is scratched up beyond playing again.
