Hmm.. When I was 4 I remember always listening to stuff like Queen, MJ, Deep Purple, ELO and videogame stuff, then when I was in late elementry-early middle school I got into bands like Slipknot, Korn, Disturbed, Cradle of Filth, Nightwish and Lacuna Coil. lol. And then I went through a Japanese rock phase where I listened to Malice Mizer, Gackt, Psycho le Cemu, etc. xD Then there was a slight industrialish/techno phase and then I went back to some symphonic metal and then moved on from female fronted girly metal bands to what I listen to now. xDD

Lol! You guys... Linkin Park.....
I leiked them too at one point

For whatever reason I never cared much for Linkin Park.

Ummm...
early middle school:
Van Halen
AC/DC
Iron Maiden
Judas Priest
Slipknot
Disturbed
Mudvayne
Dimmu Borgir
Cradle of Filth
Old Man's Child
Gorgoroth
others...hard to remember
later on...
Between the Buried and Me
Unearth
later on...
Death metal and then black metal and then lots of stuff etc. Opeth, etc.

I had a very odd taste in music when I was five. It's very different to what I have now.

Eminem
Linkin Park
Green Day
Grateful Dead
Wrestler Enterance Themes
SYOAD
Korn
Disturbed
Rob Zombie

Thankfully the early mentions in the list have had the least effect on what I listen to.
