Is awesome and if you all haven't checked it out yet then I really suggest that you should.

I think I like it more than Sumerian Daemons, which was always my favorite album by them.

Septic Flesh is just awesome in general. I will have to get this one. All I have is Communion.

There's no distinction between this and Communion which is something of a let down.

The orchestra and choir is executed flawlessly but the metal seems to fall behind. Needs moar good riffs.

I listened to The Great Mass a few times & it's a great album. The only one that i've really been listening to though is Sumerian Daemons, which is a great album. Haven't really given any other album a proper listen to yet either. Currently im trying to get some of my top albums airplay (on last.fm) so i don't have a bunch of favorite albums that only have 300 plays. My top one has almost 1,500.

Communion is great, but I prefer Sumerian Daemons, personally. Razz Great Mass was good, I've had a few friends ell me to give it a listen, and I forgot about The Vampire of Nazareth until listening to Great Mass and stuff when it was released. I luh Septic Flesh. :B

@Dies, I've always loved their use of Choirs and voices, especially in Sumerian Daemons!

Oh gosh, my last.fm doesn't even have all my plays. I don't really srobble that often, or whatever it is. what's your fm, spine?

Hmm...I like. Rather a lot. Read about them in Terrorizer and they peaked my interest but I never really checked them out.

lol with Septic Flesh being renamed to Septicflesh, or SEPTICFLESH. i find it funny how some fans are going crazy over the 'name change' but it's just a logo change because fans noticed it was the way the name was put on the Great Mass album. I believe it's how it's always been that way? It's on Communion & i think most of the others. Or maybe i'm just seeing the reissues?

But all it is a logo change, yet people think it's an actual name change. No reason to get your panties in a twist over it & certainly pointless to go & change the ID tags just so it looks exactly like the logo.

They're playing Hellfest, but I can't say I'm excited to see them. Too many other decent acts to watch.

Ahh, so lucky, I'd love to see Septic Flesh. I should keep an eye out for if they com here or something, I never actually been to a big -fest with metal music, I'd like to someday though.

Also, people can suck it; who cares about a change in spacing, there's a bunch of bands who change their names around now and then.. Won't change the music
