So this zone is going to be the most heavily moderated. No diluting or derailing. There is plenty of silliness elsewhere.

Talk about life
Debate
Ask for some advice

Staff- please keep it clean

While the Horror board can go on its tangents on how cheesy some of it can potentially be (which is still on topic, really), this is a pretty interesting alternative.

It will be nice to have a discussion forum again without threads being constantly derailed

I have to agree. Though someone may come and screw with this policy.

Mods just use your muscles if needed haha.

Yeah it would be nice to be serious about topics not involving horror haha

Horror's still a great board, which I hope this is at least on par with...

I'll iterate again you really should revamp your video project. Seems like you enjoyed it a lot, and there's a ton of potential.

If you have any ideas I'd love to hear it. Like I said the two of us got into a fight and Andrew wanted to make the episodes with fight scenes to which I said that I'd much rather have a trippy scare. I was directing an episodes in which the 4th episode would be from Mathew's perspective. The man at the bus station and how it led to his death. Andrew had wanted the devil to fight him. I had wanted it to just be a slow stalking and not really show the killing blow. Hopefully he'll at least agree to horror again. I wonder sometimes if I should have made myself the main character, might have more leverage

The fight scenes aren't a bad idea, but if you want to induce the viewer with a crazy set of images, feel free to fuck with the footage. Be creative with it. Perhaps splice it with another scene you intend to use for the bus station man. While it might seem unorthodox to break the cycle of letting a scene play out, it can impact somebody so much more if they're shown only pieces of what happen so that they're kept afloat by a collection of new information.

I'm all right at audio manipulation and in a few months, I guess you'll see. I'm open to that sort of thing if it's needed.

When you've successfully built the atmosphere, then you can start worrying about actually closing scenes from start to finish.

The goal is to have good discussion, not just random comments. So posts will be deleted

Speaking of deleting posts...it's about time I get mod powers for all these new sections. I'm hardly a mod any more lol.

And I posted a massive rant about this in the staff forum and apparently no one understood what the hell I was on about hahaha. Well, now you know what that inane rambling was about probably.
