i would call rancid more punk than ska. but i yeah definitely ska there.

reel big fish- turn the radio off (standard third wave ska. great live act seen them 3 times)

streetlight manifesto- anything but keasbey knights is a good place to start(also awesome live, seen them twice)

suburban legends- dance like nobodies watching (the're shtick is pretending to be a boy band. its fucking great. really nice people too saw them open for reel big fish)

rx bandits- also just ska influenced mostly, they got very prog rocky toward the end (hiatus w/e). listen to progress. the earlier you go, the more ska/punk/reggae the are, the later, the more werid and experimental they got. all good though... cept one song on progress...you'll know which one it is im talking about. apparently the label made them record that thing...ewwww

westbound train- never a huge fan so i can't really recommend any albums but my friends like them alot

mad caddies- rock the plank. they awesome. little weird. probably closer to rancid style at some places but the are really varied stylisticcally

madness- second wave ska, you've probably already heard of them. one step beyond is pretty great
