well, thought this may be subject to talk about

for me, im still in school, got 2 weeks left, then finals, then interning at a studio

had a really cool class though this term, it was about nuclear holocoust. from 6-10pm every monday (that kinda sucked) i got home at like 12 every week. its a ton of reading

so far ive had to read (in case any of you care)

On the beach- boring piece of boringness with completely inaccurate science
Level 7- alright, about a guy whos only job is to push buttons to destroy half the world while living underground
Alas, Babylon- easy read but meh. about a town in florida that somehow survives a nuclear war between russia and the US. the people are way too fortunate
The Road- also didnt really like it. failed to hold my interest. the scenario doesn't make any sense either. how the fuck did the planet get that way?
Canticle of Lebowitz (reading now)
way too many short stories to mention
and i have to read the watchmen eventually

in any case, have WAYY too many projects to do now and have no idea how to find the time to do them all

Sounds pretty terrible, and also, The Road isn't about how it got that way, it's about the journey.

yeah, but i cant focus on the journey when it shouldnt be there to begin with haha. i thought it was repetitive and boring. plotless even. to me it was like "he woke up, did somethings...then he woke up again, did some more things but now hes hungry" i had a tough time trying to pay attention to what i was reading.

eh. i understand why some people like it though. not my thang
