PostSubject: Kids these days   Sat Jan 17, 2009 11:44 pm

So lately a lot of kids have been adding me from school that I have never talked to. These kids usually talk to me for a couple weeks then one day just tell me everything that they are experiencing trouble wise. Now to tell someone you don't even know must mean that these people have nobody to turn to, nobody to trust, but to come to me for help. I cannot relate to them since I don't know there situation. I usually cannot comfort them beyond "oh that sucks I hope it works out" simply because I have no idea who they are or what they are like. But for people to not be able to trust there closest friends and they would need to turn to a stranger, its just sad how were kind of afraid of our neighbour sort of speak. I think that people just need to tell someone how pissed they are rather than telling the person themselves just because they don't want to further catalyst the situation. The fact that this occurs is a really strange defense system we have, may not be the right thing to do, however it is the quick way to just steam out anger rather than a cussing fit. Personally, when someone is angering me, I go on metalisfav and act jollyer than normal. Why? Because people are just not worth it, never let someone get the better of you, if a friend screws you over, psh there loss. However, I am much more carefree here than in the real world, just because there are consequences out there, for example at a job station. Be friends with the people higher up, and you get off so easy.
Worlds a helluva place ain't it?

I love it

ehh i try
also, alot of people seem to think that metalheads can be emos
which is NOT THE ****ing CASE

so they dump problems on kids who they think are emo because
emos think they have enough problems as it is

This is a weird occurrence but a frequent one, as I often have younger kids randomly spewing out their problems to me, you can only try your best but they shouldn't be afraid to open up to their mates in these situations, even with personal/family issues kids should be able to let some steam off or whatever with their closest friends without fear of ridicule, just my 2 cents on that one.

Yeah, seems like they trust someone they don't know more for whatever reason. Don't want to ruin their rep
