Symphonic gothic melodic blackened death metal.

I like them a lot.
Maybe a bit anti-religious for my tastes but awesome nonetheless

i really liked that. i dont really think its all that anti-religious. it was just story-telling. if anything, i wouldn't like it just because it involved christianity or whatever to some extent. always have an aversion toward stuff like that. but the music was great. i might have to dig into the lyrics a little harder. on the archives they dont mention anything about anti religious subject matter or religious subject matter- just says philosophy and judgement day...so whatever judgement means in that context. whatever.

Another example of why I don't really like symphonic bands: they just can't riff for shit. I have no problem with using an orchestra etc. but that's no reason to be half assed with the guitars.

Yeah, the riffing is a bit sub par, but I really think the violining is excelent.
LOR: One of their songs is called God is a Brand, and they talk about how gods are essentially corporations.
The churches tell of paradise
We live to bring them sacrifice
We live in foolish Happiness
Becoming dumb & blind, distressed…

And every time we have to pay
And every time we have to die
In grief of Jesus Christ
We will return to paradise

All the roads are blocked to traffic
Every sheep is going to Hell
Writers, Singers, Cult Classics
They all completely fell

We feel a bitter taste of Power
We live in ancient gloomy towers
The Holy Bible is a devious joint
The look of Christ on a golden coin

At least it has good lyrics. I myself am pro religion, but not Pro Christianity, although I like the saint aspect of it. Glad you like it.

This pretty much. No riffs, no care.

im actually more okay with this now. id rather have anti-religion than religion, but on the same note, i dont enjoy going out of you way to fucking be anti-religious, feels like a waste of time. there is only so much to say without repeating yourself.

the thing about no riffs though- i get that too BUT, i was more hooked by the melodies though as they were pretty good- good atmosphere as well. the main thing that bothered me was the, verses were really fucking long- i get it- they need to tell their story but more variation or something would hav been, they kinda droned on- and not in the way i like it...like drone. but overall, i liked it. might not be something i come back to often, but there was things i really enjoyed.
