I have a friend who likes Botdf and he doesn't act like that at all. I respect people who like Botdf even though I don't like the band that much. I don't think you need to be hot to play metal at all, just look at Nevermore.

I wouldn't be surprised is she wasn't.

The bigger question is: Who exactly is the leading band driving this scene kids thing still?
When I was 14 I feel like From First To Last was the main emo band. If you type in emo hair it's that picture of the band member that everyone has seen who eventually turns into Skillrex.

they all still listen to Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, but I think she hit the nail on the head with Asking Alexandria. The ironic thing is this is the subconcious music taste of most girls anyway, but they cant admit that they discriminate musically based on whether a band has "gross beard-guitars" haha. Somehow most girls just completely miss the hardcore aesthetic and go for sex appeal. I miss Sara and the other femembers.

Fembers is probably the best term for it. I can bug Sara again to post.

They'd find the lead singer of a screamo band hot regardless of what the look like, all you need is the hairstyle really
