PostSubject: This is a moment to remember forever   Tue Jan 20, 2009 5:54 pm

One of those days that you'll probably remember for the rest of your lives. These don't come along too often. The last one we all had that I can think of is 9/11. Which makes me all the more glad for a day like today that we can all celebrate. It seems like everything humanity does as a whole lately has been depressing and negative. To see such a huge majority of the nation come together and rally behind this man has been such an eye-opener for me.

Even if you don't agree with his politics, Obama and the American people have done something special. Just 60 or so years ago black people were drinking out of different drinking fountains and riding in the back of buses.

Congrats Mr.Obama, I expect the very best out of this gentleman. I hope he is protected well. On the announcements the principal stated that Mr.Obama will do a continous amount of deed that will benefit the world forever and my religion teacher laughed. Ohhh man that really rattled me.
He is in the worst position any American president has ever had to face. So really, he will probably end his career and America will still be in deficit, guess why? Bush was elected, twice. TWICE. McCain should have won eight years ago instead of Bush. This is bullshit right here

Obama is having a basketball court installed in the Whitehouse. He is going to need the most stress relievers possible

I salute you sir, you have the weight of generations on you, truly remarkable speech. "And we will reach out our hands, if you would just unclench your fist"

I didn't mean for it to come off in an ignorant way but for an assurance that you knew what the duties of the occupation are

My dad said that too
He said Obama made intentional references to Kennedy and two other good[i] presidents

Gordon Brown, not a huge fan of him either but anyones better than bush.

On the subject of Obama this is something that the U.S needs, change.
He really impressed me with that speech, any other president I wouldn't have bothered watching but this was a special moment and he's clearly a very gifted man, but can one man bare the weight of millions? As the great man said, "not by myself", we're all in this together, let's all come out of it together.

Good luck to you sir.
