I was really craving to play this epic sword/magic/bow RPG again
Plus it came with two expansions
This will be excellent recreating a character
I still have a save from the first time I played
But that character is so strong and good at everything that nothing is fun and there is no creavity to win
When your weak you have a bunch of ways to do something not just attack or bribe
Can't wait to play again
Best game ever

Aye, I got the GotY edition on 360, so have Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine. Main problem was I had one character, but after 80-ish hours of doing loads of side quests, messing around, and a good bit of main story, all the guards just started sprinting out into the wilderness for no reason and I constantly counted as being attacked. Couldn't fast travel, wait, rest......screwed up game really...

Aye, main problem was that all guards everywhere sprinted off into the wilderness for no reason. And since they move faster than me I couldnt catch them and yield or talk to them.

Maybe they were chasing an enemy, you should try resting for an hour and they should be back in a city

Aye, but the problem is that it wouldnt let me rest or fast travel or any of that stuff, it would just say "You cannot do that when enemies are near". And this happened anywhere, even when I was sure there was no one around me.

Great game, have almost full gamerscore for it, if you like oblivion that much you should definitely get Fallout 3.

Woot nice

Oblivion is the best game ever. In a medieval setting you can pick to be hardcore solider, archer, mage, bandit or a mixture of the four. There is well over 100 hours of stuff to do. There are many cities and each NPC has its own routine that they do everyday. Shop keepers go to sleep at night etc. And there are four really fun guilds
Fighters, Mage, Assassins and Thieves. Assassins guild is the best. The headquarters are really secret and everyone in there are very interesting to talk to. (Voiced by many actors) To the fighters guild and mages guild which are more of the good guys wanted you to save someone or to do a heroic deed. The main quest of the game is to close all oblivion gates which lead to hell. Truly remarkable game and so much to explore and tons of skills to develop Oblivion is by far the best game I have ever seen

byd just one thing - if you want to do every quest properly, and take care of the arena you get almost 300 hours of play. well that is if you're not a power player

srsly? wow. that is a long time. when you say quests, is it like WoW, or are you like, earning achievemnets and such? i guess, it would be preforming a task to get credit. like, see some old man in a shack and give him a pig and e gives you something to complete another task?

A lot of quests give you loot, access to more quests, some sort of help in some way. No real grind quests either, not any that I've run into...well, except getting kicked out of mages guild....

additional discs that just add more to the story since they have a story of their own and additional quests. you should first try oblivion by itself to see if you like it and then decide if it's worth it to spend more money on expansions.
and a general thing to remember is - creatures level up with you so the thought you get the tougher they get

Buy Oblivion game of the year edition
It comes with the two expansions
Side quests are amazing since there are many outcomes
Say go protect a farm from goblins with two young men
If any of them die the father blames himself and you can go from there and say something mean or nice

If you just want the normal version
And I use just very lightly
Its like 100 hours
With expansions the game is pretty much never over

Dude, voice pitch means nothing lol, its not high. You don't sound like a kid
This one guy I know lol he's so round and chubby and he sounds likes he is eight months old. His voice doesn't have the baby squeak, but it has the same pitch only it sounds like it has reverb on it. Now that is a gay guy voice not you my friend

Byd, this is how it starts, you know. One day it's "I like Blink 182", the next it's "I think I like men".
